Pius Ginting
AEER Coordinator
Pius Ginting is a person who has been dedicated to mining and energy issues for sustainability and environmental justice for more than 15 years. Formerly attended Electrical Engineering ITB, he eventually gained a Law Degree at Universitas Bung Karno. He has experience in various positions as a researcher, campaigner and analyst on issues regarding mining and energy and the environment in general.
Pius has numerous publications in the form of books, policy papers and research reports on mining and energy, and is also a guest lecturer at universities and a speaker at forums discussing coal and nickel mining. From 2017 until now, Pius is the AEER Coordinator.
Pradnya Paramarini
Planning, Monitoring, Evaluation, & Learning Manager
Pradnya Paramarini is a professional who focuses on the development sector to build strategies for resilience and communities. With a background of extensive work experience and a Master of Science degree in Natural Resource Economics at Kyoto University, as well as Master of Science degree in Biomanagement at ITB, Pradnya enjoys the iterative process of learning in research activities and bringing the team to achieve the same goal.
Pradnya continues to learn and develop to contribute in her role to various projects to improve program effectiveness through objective and comprehensive evaluation.
Hadiyah
Finance Manager
Hadiyah (Diyah) is a graduate of the Bachelor of Accounting program from Mercu Buana University, Jakarta. Diyah joined AEER in July 2023 as Finance Manager, previously Diyah worked as Finance Staff for 9 years. As Finance Manager at AEER, currently Diyah is responsible for managing organizational funds and preparing the organization’s financial reports.
Riski Saputra
Environmental Researcher
Riski Saputra is someone who has loved environmental research and advocacy since he was an Environmental Engineering student at Universitas Hasanuddin. He has experience in leading various programs aimed at promoting better environmental governance.
Through a data-driven and collaborative approach, Riski is involved in efforts to fight for environmental and social justice.
Timotius Rafael
Environmental Researcher
Timotius Rafael joined AEER since Juli 2025. As Environmental Researcher, he is responsible for conducting research focused on industrial decarbonisation and energy transition.
With a background in Environmental Engineering at ITB, Timotius has a strong commitment to bring positive social and environmental change. He believes that sharp, critical, and impartial research is an important foundation for just and sustainable policies.
