We focus on impactful research, policy development, and advocacy in environmental and urban issues.

Job Description:

AEER is looking for a passionate, self-driven to join our team as a  Power System Analyst. This role involves in-depth analysis and research of power systems, focusing on sustainability, efficiency, and policy implications. The ideal candidate thrives both in independent work with minimal supervision and in fostering strong collaboration across functional teams and diverse stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct advanced analysis of power systems and modeling.
2. Research on sustainable energy solutions and policies.
3. Collaborate on interdisciplinary research projects.
4. Engage in policy advocacy and stakeholder communication.
5. Represent AEER at conferences, workshops, and public hearings related to the issues.

 Skills and Qualifications:

1. Experience in power systems analysis, preferably with a focus on renewable energy integration into power systems.
2. Familiarity with policy analysis related to the power system issues.
3. Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
4. Demonstrated commitment to environmental sustainability and social justice.
5. Willingness to travel to remote areas.
6. Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Policy, Renewable Energy, or related field.
7. Minimum 2 (two) years of experience in scientific research on power system topics.
